Debt finance, followed by various alternative finance solutions, is called structured trade finance (STF). It is usually used in cross-border transactions, and this kind of finance method is used for developing countries, conventional banking and promoting high-value transactions of bilateral trade relationships, making use of measures with non-standard security. STF is divided into tolling finance, receivables finance, uncommitted trade facilities, pre-export finance, account receivables finance and inventory finance.
